Job Title: Sales Support Executive
Reports to: Team Lead, Sales Support
Office Location: Plano
The Research Now Sales Support Executive is primarily responsible for providing pre-sale and post-sale support for the administrative elements of the sales process to Research Now Sales Team Members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Capture and document client project requirements.
Reach out to Sales Relationship Owner if additional project requirements are required.
Analyze the feasibility of delivering against client requirements using proprietary tools and processes.
Assess the appropriate pricing for the project based on the client’s specifications using proprietary tools and processes.
Aggregate client specifications, our feasibility assessment, and our pricing to generate a custom quote document specific to the client’s project needs.
Return the quote to the Sales Relationship Owner for them to review and send to the client.
NOTE: There are some exceptions where the Sales Relationship Owner will review the quote and instruct the SSE to return the quote directly to the client. This will be the exception rather than the standard process and ONLY follow Sales Relationship Owner (or Director/VP) review and approval of the quote document.
Operate within a team of other Sales Support Executives to provide fast and reliable support turnaround for a variety of Sales Relationship owners and teams.
Communicate with other Sales Support Executives, Sales Managers, and Sales Directors regarding quote and price consistency and consistent feasibility assessment.
Support the sales function in specific project-level aspects including:
Creating Salesforce.com Opportunities
Creating Salesforce.com Project Line Items (PLIs)
Running all feasibility assessments in Abacus or Intranet
Coordinating with all internal resources required like the ISS team and the MMR team.
Revise final specifications in Salesforce.com to match final project negotiated terms.
Creating Final Project Quote
Generate MRAs in Salesforce.com
Distributing MRAs through Docusign
Monitoring Docusign Dashboard to drive MRA process through full execution
Launching projects from Salesforce.com into Compass
Entering initial project phasing
Upload all appropriate project documentation into compass (i.e. Signed MRA, Study Quote, and/or Client Questionnaire if available)
Executing change-order requests from Sales Relationship owner
Executing changes in phasing requests from Sales Relationship owner
0-3 years office or comparable experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required
Skills in MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, and Access preferred
