Description

The Sales Support Specialist develops sales incentives, 12 month rolling sales forecasts, sales programs, dealer training, and general dealer relations. This role researches, proposes, negotiates and implements new or revised systems of wholesale/retail sales promotion and product forecasting. This role also develops creative inventory management plans, new product launch promotions, field inventory tracking methods, dealer training, tradeshow direction, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement monthly retail incentive programs including cash and finance options to support strategic product plan goals and to meet competitive challenges while keeping within budget.

Prepare a 12 month rolling sales forecast, reflecting the needs of the global sales team while considering the goals of the production management team.

Plan and coordinate the monthly shipping priorities with the order desk and production departments.

Coordinate and compile weekly field inventory reports with new and creative methods.

Coordinate annual dealer sales meetings.

Identify and monitor competitors that may affect sales. Conduct and analyze market research on competitors regarding pricing policies.

Develop, launch, and coordinate the annual preseason order sessions for the global sales regions.

Develop and implement annual dealer training plans through the sales department.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing with 3-5 years of experience in Marketing or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

continuously develop dealers.

Ability to be customer oriented and have a can do attitude to provide effective training and product support.

Demonstration of strong oral and written communication skills Ability to make good decisions in very difficult and tense situations
