We have an immediate need for a Sales Trainer. The Sales Trainer works under the guidance of the Sales Training Manager in formulating and delivering training programs for new Residential Solar Consultants, and other positions on the outside sales team. This will consist of working with the Sales Training Manager to support the training efforts for the regional sales team.

Core duties and responsibilities are:
  • Work with Sales Training manager and assist in sales appointment evaluations with members of the Regional Sales Team.
  • Work with Sales Training manager and assist in dissemination of unique key best practices currently being employed in the field.
  • Work with Sales Training manager and assist in development of training material on key best practices.
  • Work with Sales Training manager and assist in training of key best practices across all regions via in person trainings, workshops and webinars.
  • Develop Best Practice Training Plan, participate in “Sales Trainer” training sessions.
  • Perform ride alongs with sales team. Complete Ride Along Evaluation sheet and provide mentoring in the field during appointment.
  • Develop Best Practice Training Material with Sales Training Team
  • Cond uct Best Practice Training via, webinar, Group Training Session, and One on One training sessions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,
  • 3-5 years of experience of demonstrated successful selling (as measured by quota attainment, referral sales etc…),
  • Previous public speaking and/or group facilitation experience,
  • Previous experience as a manager, or mentor of others,
  • Strong knowledge of REC Solar products, services and sales processes,
  • Strong knowledge of MS applications, and web-based presentation platforms (goto meeting, etc…),
  • Ability to bring individuals to consensus, and to persuade and motivate,
  • Willingness to travel up to 10 days per month,
  • Must have strong track record of innovation.
