Munson Business Interiors, a locally-owned office environment consulting firm, has an immediate opening for a Sales and Business Development Consultant. This position will do research and networking to identify, qualify and initiate new business leads for offices that are moving, remodeling or expanding. Networking and contacts in the B2B world are important. This position is expected to generate new sales volume and target account development. Specific requirements include: - Networking with business groups and leaders, real estate brokers, A & D community, contractors, community organizations, industry organizations such as IFMA, BOMA, etc.;
- Develop relationships with key influences (A & D principals, real estate brokers, property managers); - Research for leads through business journals, newspapers, industry periodicals and publications, the Internet, etc.; - Put together a formal marketing plan for generating new business for dealership; - Qualify leads, with potential customers; - Set up contact with account/lead to present dealership's products and services; - Make presentations on dealership products and services; - Be available, responsive and timely to customer inquiries and requests; - Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales ad margin goals, as set, and - Work with marketing staff (internal or external) to develop professional materials and presentations.

Job Skills/Requirements
Qualified applicants should have strong experience in, and success with, business-to-business sales; excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening); good research skills; flexibility, and strong critical thinking skills (creative, problem-solving, integrative and decision-making). Applicants should display a high degree of professionalism, self-start, motivation and bias for action. They should also be proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook and be able to leaverage technology and electronic media to produce results.
