Busy Durable Medical Equipment company seeks experienced
candidates for a billing assistant position!


Must be detail oriented, and able to multitask. Medical Billing experience and secretarial experience of at least 1-2 years. Must have excellent communication skills to relate to patients and their families. Experience with computers and computerized billing; experience with excel and microsoft word.

Must have excellent communication skills with patients and insurance companies

Taking detailed messages, and making sure that ALL messages are relayed to the office manager.

Data entry, billing, typing of letters and faxing documents.

Keeping track of charts, and responsible for filing charts and all documents, calling on insurance denials and claims, getting chart notes from other medical offices and following up on all oustanding claims.

Maintains patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
