Job Description:

Alsbridge has a key opportunity for a Sales and Proposal Leader . The Sales and Proposal Leader is a vital member of the pre-sale bid, proposal and delivery team supporting Alsbridge and all new business pursuits. This critical role coordinates and manages the proposal team, ensures best practice proposals and methodology are implemented, provides text and illustrations that effectively describe the system solution being offered, analyzes the scope of work with management and customers, and ensures that the proposal is compliant with RFP guidelines. The Sales and Proposal Leader ensures clear, concise, customer friendly descriptions of proposed solutions and services are written. The Sales and Proposal Leader is a key position who will effectively work with all levels of client and internal team members, and will manage and mentor the team members of the sales support team. To be successful this candidate must have strong management experience and communication skills as well as proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Word and PowerPoint.

Job requirements:
  • Provide pre and post sales support to both sales executives and managing directors; support includes project coordination, bid updates, document tracking and requirements coordination
  • Understand the prospective client’s needs and clearly articulate how our solutions fit the environment and infrastructure in conjunction with sales executive and sales leadership
  • Work closely with corporate sales and marketing team as well as executive team to develop presentations for speaking engagements
  • As needed, coordinate internally across multiple departments in order to support assigned bid activities
  • Assist in developing sales plans, responses to RFI’s/RFP’s and proposals
  • Assist in reviewing letters of engagement and statements of work defining the pricing and deliverables for each engagement
  • Work with marketing/delivery management and development teams in prioritizing service lines and market research
  • Manage training and mentor the proposal support staff to ensure growth and development of the team
  • Possess excellent internal presentation and communications skills
  • Enjoy exceptional ability to multi-task while being results and goals-oriented
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be strong in typing, editing and writing skills
  • 6-10 years of sales support with proposal experience from a professional services company, major outsourcing service provider or consulting firm with knowledge of the outsourcing industry
  • Degree in relevant subject from an accredited college/university with industry experience or will consider MBA graduates with minimal consulting experience
  • 7 + years proven experience in bid or proposal production
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft project and/or other project planning tool
  • Sourcing industry experience a must
  • Experience using database software a plus
