Salesforce Consultant

Slalom Consulting is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Salesforce consultant

to join its growing Salesforce practice. The individual in this role will be part of a

dynamic team, designing and delivering world-class solutions using the Salesforce

platform. Responsibilities include leading the vision for Slalom’s clients’ needs around

CRM, guiding business stakeholders through workshops, and helping define solutions

that meet both near- and long-term objectives. As a Salesforce consultant for Slalom,

you’ll help our clients achieve success by advocating for their business needs and end

users throughout each stage of the implementation process.

Responsibilities Key Skills

 Assist sales with developing prototype  Content knowledge—Experience designing demonstrations, as well as managing and and implementing Salesforce solutions; proven completing system configurations and setting understanding of Microsoft Dynamics, Siebel, up users SAP, and similar enterprise-level applications

 Provide technical and functional expertise to  Analytical techniques—Experience leading project team requirements gathering sessions and

 documenting the outcome, including designing Document and implement configuration changes and data-mapping requirements process flows and helping define test scripts

  System configuration—Ability to effectively Guide development teams on functionality that requires custom logic to meet the design a scalable solution to meet client

requirements; demonstrate solution business needs, and participate in system

functionality to business stakeholders as configuration when necessary

needed  Project management—Demonstrated

 analytical skills and experience with the Develop project-level or application- or business-specific approaches and plans for complete lifecycle of complex enterprise

testing, training, communicating, rolling out, projects; understands core project

and offering post-production support management concepts, theories, practices, and methods

 Lead or facilitate sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements  Change management and scope control—

Experience performing impact analysis for  Achieve Salesforce product certifications to potential changes in scope; ability to

successfully advise and direct clients on best administer change management processes practices for both business process and within a specified framework, including platform optimization regularly reviewing issues’ management and

change control logs to understand status and identify potential risk situations

 Client training—Develop client training plans and lead train-the-trainer and end-user training sessions as required

Qualifications

 5–7 years of CRM experience and proven understanding of a full software development lifecycle

 2+ years of hands-on experience with packaged applications, including Salesforce, Microsoft, Siebel, SAP, or similar enterprise- level applications

 Minimum of 2 years of experience with Salesforce implementing full project lifecycles

 BA or BS in Business or Management Information Systems preferred

 Salesforce certification preferred
