OpenX needs an experienced, business-minded individual with a strong technical grounding in the capabilities and functionality of the Salesforce.com platform, including an understanding of system configuration as well as the ability to scope out and direct development projects. The Salesforce Business Analyst will assist in the day to day execution and administration of the OpenX Salesforce instance while owning the end-to-end success of Salesforce projects. Experience with planning and managing projects that represent complex organizational change is an absolute requirement.
The Salesforce.com Business Analyst has the following responsibilities:
Gathering requirements from departmental execs regarding business needs and translating them appropriately into discrete configuration and development-oriented technical specifications.
Executing on configuration projects of varying complexity to ensure the smooth operation of our day-to-day sales functions.
Driving key initiatives that define the structure and scalability of our Salesforce instance.
Building out the capacity to provide day to day troubleshooting and support for our rapidly growing pool of end-users.
Managing relationships with consultants and vendors as needed in a project management capacity.
3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator for an instance with 200+ users.
Strong functional knowledge of the Salesforce data structure; understands how to leverage the tool to meet complex reporting requirements while enabling long term scalability.
Has experience in managing development projects that involve deep requirements gathering, technical spec building, managing code output, thorough QA, and heavy end user training.
Strong communicator; able to get along with salespeople as easily as with engineers; capable of managing people, projects, and cross-departmental/vendor/consultant relationships.
Understanding of APEX and Visualforce development.
Preferred: Advanced Admin Certification (301); & Developer Certifications (401, 501)
