SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION WITHIN DEPARTMENT:
This is an entry level position. Under direct supervision, employee performs basic and routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform basic assembly in accordance with written, visual, and verbal instruction
Inspection of own work to assure correctness in accordance with company and or customer drawing
Fill out required paper work to complete ATP inspection test reports and work orders
Required to record production time and quantity data at the cell as required
Understanding and maintenance of work area under 5S guidelines
May be asked to assist in training /development with tasks in other production cells/locations
All work is subject to quality review
May cut webbing
May clean parts
May bond, plate and/or build ground lug assembly
May perform other duties as required
Ability to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Familiarity with blue print reading preferred
Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
Ability to clearly communicate with all internal and external customers in English including the ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures
Knowledgeable of and actively demonstrates all safety policies and procedures
