Division : Wood Products
Responsible for supervision of lumber production crew, which includes, but is not limited to: safety, product quality, training and development of hourly employees, department workflow and manpower utilization, communication and administering company policies and procedures. Requires a strong commitment to and passion for safety and achieving a zero incident goal. Environmental compliance, quality, production, costs and continuous improvement. Shift to be determined.
Basic Qualifications :
Degree and or supervisory experience preferred. Essential qualifications include proven skills in a production environment with an understanding of manufacturing practices, excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with people and to facilitate change and growth in a team environment. Must be available to work a flexible work schedule (to include swing, graveyard, and relief shift work) in a production-manufacturing environment. PC skills essential, Windows NT programs helpful.
