Acts as the primary liaison with the Clinical Director of Anesthesia (CDA)/designee in the administration of the surgical schedule, to include the coordination of activities involving the throughput of surgical patients. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of reception and clerical duties relating to the operation of the Surgical Services department. May perform selected patient supportive services. A.Minimum Education: Level of knowledge acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or equivalent.
B.Minimum Work Experience: One to two years of Unit Secretary experience in the Operating Room, POCU, PACU and Endoscopy, or other relevant experience will be considered. Demonstrates competency in computer skills and application of Microsoft Word and Excel programs. NOTE: PT- 6:30-7 PM- 4 shifts/pay period No weekends,holidays or stand-by call required. MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN SURGICAL SERVICES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
