Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires five equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years scheduling experience with P3 and/or Oracle Primavera P6 with an understanding of County/Capital projects, schedule management experience and knowledge of all types of construction, materials, sequence of work, alternative methods of construction means and methods. Comprehensive analysis skills including resource loading and cost loading, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
The experienced scheduler will be developing, maintaining and monitoring the Integrated Master Schedule, Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule analysis and assessments for the project controls organization and project management team; modify the Integrated Master Schedule and any supporting schedules as requested and report to both the executive and project manager level to present risk assessments and status, track to baseline, evaluate and analyze change order schedule impacts and “what-if” analysis; development of corrective action plans and mitigation strategies based upon schedule risk assessment project health and critical path analysis.
The scheduler will also prepare monthly reports for construction projects, comparing baseline approved schedule to progress schedule including CPM, resource loading, cost loading, manpower, submittals, projections of impact and recovery plan.
