Scheduling Planner:
BASIC FUNCTION
This position will work with corporate production planning to develop production schedules for the Hardcooked and Liquid departments. Maintain process orders for GY2 production.Work directly with procurement to schedule inbound liquid and shell egg to meet the needs of the production schedules. Ensure appropriate inventory levels of shell egg, packaging materials, and ingredients are maintained based on forecast and demand.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Work with Production Planning and Plant Management to develop production schedules for the Hardcooked and Liquid production areas.

Work with Procurement to ensure inbound liquid and shell loads egg are scheduled to meet production requirements.

Work with Shell Receiving and Procurement to schedule outbound shell material loads and outgoing liquid egg.

Maintain an appropriate inventory level of packaging materials and ingredients based on forecasted demand, production plans & schedules.

Monitor inventory of labels to ensure label stock is adequate for production demand.

Create, release, and maintain process orders in SAP for Liquid, Hardcooked (including B&P), and Breaking.

Receive all inbound shell egg and liquid egg into SAP.

Complete weekly and monthly USDA PY240 Volume Reports.

Complete Organic Valley production reports as required.

Ensure cycle and physical inventory counting of materials, ingredients, and shell egg are being performed regularly and reconciliation processes are being done as required.

Identify and lead additional localized reduction opportunities, either individually or by leading cross functional teams

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain management or related field; or experience equivalent to a formal degree

Prior Sourcing/Purchasing experience strongly preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction at all levels of the organization

Ability to lead and work on projects in a team environment and across functions

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks yet be able to contribute to the overall success of a team

Strong planning and analysis skills coupled with results orientation.

Operational and reporting experience with client-server enterprise resource planning systems required (preferably SAP)

Food industry exposure and/or experience a plus.
