The Arthritis Foundation founded in 1948, is the nation’s largest not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention, control and cure of arthritis, the leading cause of disability in the United States and affecting more than 50 million adults and 300,000 children. Arthritis affects the daily activities of approximately 23 million adults.
