Candidate will train in a validated assay in order to perform routine testing. Duties will include reagent preparation, sample tracking, basic lab maintenance. Candidate will follow GLP guidelines and strictly adhere to standard operating procedures. Once trained, work will be performed with minimum supervision, requiring effective time and reagent management in order to complete assignments in expected timeframe. Candidate must be comfortable working with human samples.
This role will be focused on ELISA testing- specifically on MSD and Luminex platforms.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
BS/BA in Life Science or related field with 2 + years experience with ELISA/ Immunoassays or
Associates degree in laboratory science with 6 years of hand on ELISA/ Immunoassays experience or
Non-degreed with 8 years of hands on Pharmaceutical laboratory experience
Or equivalent years experience in lieu of education
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
ELISA/Immunoassay experience in a regulated enviroment ideal
Manual dexterity
Communicate effectively and follow detailed written and verbal instruction
Cooperate with coworkers within an organized team environment or work alone with supervision
Manage time effectively to complete assignments in expected time frame
Maintain a laboratory notebook and complete all documentation with clear and accurate language and according to the Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to plan, schedule and carry out work for successful project completion
Proficient in the operation of the computer and data acquisition programs
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
Ability to write protocols and reports with minimum supervision
