CMI is currently looking to expand their machining department. To accomplish this, we're seeking mechanically inclined individuals that are willing to be trained. We are currently looking to fill multiple positions on 1st & 3rd shift.
Once all of the applications are reviewed, the individuals who meet the qualifications listed below will be notified of an upcoming Job Workshop where we will have "hands on" demonstrations of the actual duties of a screw machine operator.
After this demonstration, 6-8 individuals will be placed in an upcoming training program through Pioneer Career & Technology Center. During this training, you will be required to have perfect attendance while learning about shop math, calipers, micrometers & reading prints.
Following the successful completion of this training, 4-6 individuals will then be brought into our facility for actual hands-on machine training before being moved on to the floor as a full time screw machine operator.
- On the main page of our website is a short video showing the actual screw machines that we use in-house!*
Who will be considered for training?
oIndividuals who can consistently lift 75 +/- pounds.
oIndividuals who can stand / walk for up to 10 hours per day.
oIndividuals capable of reading blue prints / parts prints and calipers / micrometers.
oQuality minded individuals willing to dedicate the time necessary for training.
