The SEO manager at PFSweb is responsible for SEO implementation, ongoing optimization, link building, reporting and analysis of global campaigns. This is an opportunity to work each day to maximize results and produce winning campaigns for large brands’ e-commerce programs. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing global e-commerce SEO campaigns including establishing a solid SEO foundation during implementation, providing SEO best practice recommendations for URL structure, on-page elements, linking practices and more.
Performing SEO technical audits.
Managing SEO campaigns, including selecting target keywords and landing pages, generating on-page and off-page recommendations, implementing approved SEO changes in CMS, growing authority through link building and social media, providing reporting.
Educating client and internal teams about SEO best practices and changes.
Performing campaign analysis and generating ideas for optimization and testing
Staying abreast of latest trends and best practices in the Search industry; recommending and implementing strategies which can benefit PFSweb clients
Thinking strategically and contributing ideas which move our clients’ search campaigns forward including the areas of mobile search, social media and globalization
5+ years working experience in search marketing with at least 3 years in SEO
Key Required Skills:
Client work experience in SEO
Ability to communicate technical requirements to developers
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
Excellent writing and editing skills
Understanding of e-commerce website functionality, KPIs and analytics tools
Experience with keyword research
Up to Date experience with SEO tactics and best practices
Experience analyzing analytics data and providing recommendations for SEO campaigns
Fluency in MS Office Tools for reporting and client presentations (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience with HTML. Ability to read source code.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Extremely detail oriented and organized
Experience with an e-commerce platform or CMS, especially Demandware
Experience with IBM Digital Analytics (Core Metrics)
Experience with e-commerce SEO
Foreign language experience – written fluency
Experience with Enterprise SEO tools (i.e. Bright Edge, Covario, Searchlight)
Experience with link building tactics and best practices
Experience with SEO audits
Experience with retail digital marketing, especially CPG, Health & Beauty and Apparel
Agency digital marketing experience
Experience working on global marketing campaigns
