Under the direction of the Program Manager, the SCH Supervisor is responsible for leading the team of Child Care Workers (CCWs) to provide support, guidance, and training to youth placed in a Mother/Baby Group Home. The SCH Supervisor will need to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by direct care staff.
Must be able to multi task, provide hands on support, as well as training in areas determined to be of need. Must be able to balance the programmatic, employee, and resident needs on a daily basis as well as adhere strictly to the regulatory expectations of the program. Responsible for working with the Program Manager to hire, evaluate, and assess all employees accurately. The Supervisor collaborates with the Lead CCWs to ensure the CCWs are fulfilling specified roles of the position, including menu planning, transportation, recreational plans.
The Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that all principles and skills of Therapeutic philosophies related to resident care, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Trauma Informed Care Model, and Collaborative Problem Solving, are being used regularly by all Child Care Workers.
Associates Degree with minimally 5 years experience will be reviewed with Supervisory Experience a must; Bachelors preferred with minimally 2 years experience.
