This 12 month/260 day position will provide clerical support to the Assistant Director of Human Resources.

Anticipated start day for this position is May 1, 2013.

Essential Duties
  • Serves as the primary secretary for the Assistant Director of Human Resources
  • Keys in various information into HR databases
  • Prepares and places advertisements in newspapers to recruit candidates for open positions
  • Pays bills for the HR Department on a Direct Pay through the Oracle Financial System
  • Maintains HR Department financial records
  • Orders supplies for the HR Department through the C & M ordering system and other vendors by phone, email, or via a Purchase Authorization Form
  • Scans HR related documents
  • Assists employees with resetting their passwords
  • Assists with New Hire Employee Orientations on a rotating basis
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

A high school graduate or equivalent (business school or some college preferred). Leadership qualities, communication skills and public relations skills are necessary. Ability to use computers in a broad range of applications such as but not limited to the following: Word Processing; Spreadsheet Data Entry and Spreadsheet Design; Database Maintenance; and Internet Search Engines. Experience in Excel is required.

Additional Information

This 260 day (12 month) position is located at Central Office-School Administration Building in the Department of Human Resources.

The minimum salary for this position is $32,480.12.
