Under the supervision of the director, the candidate will assist the director and Counseling Center clinicians in scheduling appointments and providing clerical support. This position performs routine secretarial duties as well as other office management assignments, while maintaining a high level of operation and organizational performance. The successful candidate will serve as the welcome to the department and office for all students; must have the ability to communicate and relate to college students, while maintaining a professional relationship. An emphasis on a high level of confidentiality is required. Ability to multi-task is crucial. The secretary will perform various duties related to assignments, reports, and other data collection for the Counseling Center. Will be responsible for ordering office supplies and for overseeing the maintenance of office equipment. Will maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Perform other duties as required.
H.S. Diploma; 3 years professional office experience; high level of competency in computer skills; experience with Titanium software is a plus. Must be eager to learn new software and applications.
