Position Summary:

Provide security administration for IT. Provides recommendations based on audits and assessments to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Proactively identify areas where information theft is possible and provide solutions for mitigation. Provide solutions for compliance or areas of concern to the business concerning security.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with established SLAs to business Integrate security governance into corporate IT governance
  • Configure, support and evaluate security tools
  • Review architectural designs and evaluate compliance to applicable security standards
  • Conduct security audits and provide recommendations to mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance to security standards and policy
  • Review or modify disaster recovery and business continuity work practices
  • Integration of security with our disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Ensure representation in change management process
  • Administer remote access infrastructure
  • Produce or update remote access policy
  • Perform of security investigations
  • Establish policies and procedures to identify and report security incidents
  • Establish protocol to react to and address security incidentss
  • Establish protocol for post-mortem activities surrounding security incidents
  • Audit systems, processes and applications for security vulnerabilities and provide recommendations
  • Obtain commitment from senior management regarding acceptable IT security policies and practices
  • Determine desired state, create gap analysis and develop a road map to continually improve the security of our enterprise
  • Educate employee base on security matters that help to minimize disruption and risk to the business
  • Establish metrics and KPIs by which we can quickly evaluate the high-level health of our security across the enterprise
  • Conduct vulnerability and threat tests / checks

Basic Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years IT experience, to include experience with Windows servers operating systems, Linux/UNIX, and Security Standards, Compliance and Auditing
Other Required Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of MDM policies
  • Knowledge of common protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, NTP, LDAP, KERBEROS, RADIUS and FTP
  • Experience in answering RFQ or RFI from customers or business units
  • Experience with web application vulnerability scanning tools such as IBM AppScan, HP Webinspect, Accunetix, NTO Spider, Burp suite Pro or similar
  • Knowledge of forensic tools such as Encase, FTK, Helix, Wireshark
  • Experience in Risk Assessments
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience in RedHat, CENT OS, and AIX
  • 2 years experience in large enterprise with retail or sales based company
  • 2 years auditing experience
  • CISSP, CCSP, CISA certifications
Essential Functions: Travel may be required to perform audits, investigations or as required by above functions
