EDUCATION OR TRAINING PREFFERRED:
Previous Security/Law Enforcement experience
High School diploma or Equivalent (required)
Good attendance history

Controls access to ADM plant-site and prevents unauthorized removal of ADM property. Performs roving patrols (interior/exterior) of plant site. Uncover and report fire/safety hazards. Enforce speed limit and document violations.
Radio, golf cart, computer, Security Transportation Vehicle (pick-up truck), Access Control Computer and Camera system.
Reports, permits, tickets
and all paperwork related to security including Security Access System.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
Records who is coming onto and leaving ADM plant site and prevents unauthorized entry, (employees, visitors, contractors and truck drivers).
Performs random vehicle searches
Performs patrols on plant site which are performed daily.
Patrols property lines, safeguarding against theft, unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
Controls truck traffic coming into plant site.
Answers phones after hours and on weekends and during special Office events.
Keeps shift superintendent informed of approaching weather fronts in the summer/winter by continuously monitoring the emergency equipment, (County Wide Pager and Scanner).
Maintains an effective working relationship with fellow employees.
Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
Performs duties in a safe manner and successfully completes all safety certification requirements.
Participates actively in training.
Reports to work in a condition to be able to perform all duties.
Practices proper personal hygiene.
Familiarizes themselves with the hazards in their work area and how to protect themselves.
Understands that accidents are preventable and that safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Performs Individual Duties, which helps supports the Security Department.
Completes job specific training within the first
90-days of employment.
Investigates and reports property damage, theft, vandalism, fire, and personal injury incidents for non-ADM employees and ADM employees as requested by plant management.
Enforces plant speed limit and documents all violations as required by the NDEQ..
Inspects parking lot to ensure that all vehicles are parked correctly, displaying a valid Parking Permit and are in designated parking areas.
Enforces safety and security policies and procedures with contractors.
Cares for company vehicles and coordinates transportation as directed.
Performs the following duties during emergencies: crowd control, headcount, coordinate activity with Law Enforcement/Emergency Service Departments, follow Incident Command policies/procedures, Plant access control,
Notifies the plant of emergency situations and what the proper response should be and tests the Emergency Tone Generator.
Maintains key control by following established polices and procedures and documents all vehicle activity.
Enforces Security and Safety policies for employees, visitors, contractors and truck drivers.
Monitors, acknowledges and documents alarms and responds to the alarms on Identi-Pass Security System.
Secures all doors in the Main Office, Engineering Building, Corn Gates and blocks off the Corn Trucks lane after business hours.
Responsible for the immediately distribution of Billable Demand and Energy Curtailment faxes as they are received.
Stays current with changes.
May perform reasonably similar or related job duties as requested by department manager or lead.
•Able to meet the physical requirements of the position including but not limited to: able to lift up to 50lbs, stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time, squat/kneel, climb stairs/ladders, operate vibrating equipment/power tools/assistive transfer devices, work in a variety of environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc)
•Excellent communication & organizational skills; able to collaborate with colleagues and management teams to complete assignments in a timely manner
•Willing to improve technical skills through on-the-job and/or outside training
•Willing to work shift and weekends as needed
