This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer. Join the team of Holly Hill Hospital, a growing, private, psychiatric facility that has provided 30 years' worth of service to the community. We are passionate about excellent quality care in the treatment and recovery of adults and adolescents with psychiatric and/or chemical dependency illnesses. Based in Raleigh, NC, Holly Hill Hospital is perfectly located in a rapidly growing family-oriented community that is just hours from the mountains and the beaches and is a surrounded by major universities.

We currently have a need for PRN Security Officer. Responsibilities include efficient and prompt answering of telephone calls and courteous interaction with public and employees. Act as the Receptionist and Security Officer in the lobby.

Requirements

Education/training:
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
At least 6 months of security experience, switchboard/reception experience; preferably in a hospital or other institutional setting.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current North Carolina Driver’s License
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association, Health Care Provider) required.
• CPI Certification

Knowledge and Skills:
• Ability to provide phone / reception responsibilities on third shift.
• Knowledge of hospital emergency codes.
• Possess a keen eye for security breaches and possess a proactive response time to potential security / safety risks.
• Possess a want-to-do attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Skill in answering multi-line phone system, and take accurate messages.
• Knowledge and skill in CPI techniques.
• Ability to deal with multiple interruptions.
