The Security Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting Chevron’s Electronic Access Control System (EACS), which is a standardized enterprise security system for Physical Access Control, CCTV, SmartBadge, Visitor Manager and Remote Monitoring world-wide.

This is a new position, so the successful candidate must be a self-starter willing to participate in the development and documentation for the required role/responsibilities listed below.
Selects, gathers and analyzes a variety of business data to generate routine analysis. Able to link analysis to business/operational results.
Creates ad hoc reports to extract information to support analytical efforts and participates in the design of new reports and/or systems enhancements.
Able to determine which system (Lenel On-Guard, SAP, Ariba, Synergy, Sharepoint,) has needed information and able to process data and standard reports from those systems.
Communicates, in verbal and in written form, the results of analysis/work in a clear, concise manner. Prepares presentation materials.
Learning facilitation skills. May facilitate meetings within work group.
May participate on cross-functional teams.
•Develops relationships with other Inter-SBU or Inter-Opco business and analytical staffs.
Initiates and cultivates cohesive working relationships with co-workers, clients, and third party vendors to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks requiring their involvement and support.
Understands other operating company’s business strategies and applies this information to increase collaboration.
May assist in coordinating and reconciling financial forecasts with business plans and budgets.
Becomes knowledgeable in economic analysis.
2+ years enterprise security system experience and general knowledge of overall security industry.
Bachelor’s Degree .
Ability to achieve ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Knowledge of industry standards related to company policy and procedures.
Domestic and International Travel 10%
Assists in developing and recommending specific strategies.
Coordinates multiple business activities to ensure alignment with business/financial objectives.
Establishes and monitors metrics to ensure business is meeting established objectives.
Gather and compile metric data to measure project effectiveness and assist in implementing project improvement feedback.
Identifies and applies technology to solve problems in own area of expertise.

Experience with Lenel On-Guard and/or similar systems.
