Ostendo Technologies, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Semiconductor Process QA Technician. This position requires the tasks to be performed in a Class 100 / Class 1000 cleanroom. Primary responsibilities include:

Develop inspection criteria in a document with the support of Process Engineers.

Routine inspection of wafers throughout fabrication operation wherever applicable.

Report writing summarizing concisely results of the inspections.

Develop statistical process controls associated with inspection steps.

Routine auditing of the wafer processing steps to ensure correct recipes and operation procedures are followed. This includes audits of related traveler/router, tool logs and maintenance records.

Assure proper procedures are followed in the operation of semiconductor processing equipments, such as steppers, contact aligners, wet benches, ICP machines, sputtering and e-beam machines.

Routine audits of proper safety and cleanroom operation procedures are followed.

Support and be an active member of an ISO-9001 effort.
The successful candidate will be an essential team member for QA processes to ensure the success transfer of Ostendo's innovative technology to production in a total team effort. Education
Minimum High School or above, ASQ certification with five years experience of semiconductor wafer processing. Position Requirements
Recent experience with Wafer QA processes and controls
Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment with ISO 9001 process implementation and auditing experience
Demonstrated ability to perform process auditing and extract process control data from documentations such as travelers, equipment operation procedures, process recipes and equipment usage log is essential.
Able to keep detail process records and communicate results to team members
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of MS Office.
Demonstrated ability to use of statistical tools to obtain Cpk, Defect, Density, Scrap, etc. is desired
Working knowledge of DOE principles and practices is a plus. Location
