Position Summary:
Perform clerical duties to support units within the Business Office.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

 Take receipt of lockbox deposit contents and sort into batches for posting

 Maintain payment logbooks

 Reconcile completed batches to log book to ensure all batches have been accounted for

 Balance batches against lockbox deposit and report discrepancies to supervisor

 Update Daily Cash Report maintained as an Excel worksheet

 Copy payer remittance advices and provide to Credit and Collections for posting and resolution

 File and retrieve batches

 Other duties as assigned.

Education High school graduation or an equivalent combination of training and experience is necessary.

Experience Knowledge of basis office-based applications. Proficient arithmetic ability to calculate and total deposits.

Supervision is received by supervisor.

Typical Mental Demands:
Ability to do math calculations with 100% accuracy in reporting totals and reconciling batches. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must understand and be able to follow vague instructions, and react favorably in all work situations. Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people.
