Carpenter Co. has a great opportunity available for a Senior Account Manager within our Chemical Products Division. This position will work out of a home office to maintain relationships with existing clients and generate new business in the Midwest territory.
The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for all aspects of account management to maintain an assigned existing customer base while maximizing the return to Carpenter Co. Operationally and strategically manage the sales cycle from prospect account development to new account closure. The keys to success are effective time management, efficient management of company resources, and the ability to close on sales opportunities.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years of experience in a technical or sales role within the polyurethane or related chemical industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and internal employees at all levels of the organization to accomplish sales goals
• Ability to travel extensively to visit customer locations and support business requirements in the assigned territory
