What we need :

The Senior Account Manager, Global Solutions is responsible for managing strong client relationships in addition to delivering the day-to-day assigned work for Merkle’s international clients. The Senior Manager will work directly with Merkle’s International Practice team, Client Engagement Leaders - the senior leaders on the accounts and with Merkle’s clients, to manage execution of deliverables and to ensure that client expectations are being met. The services that Merkle’s International Practice provides include strategic planning, global data sourcing and data quality services, analytics, market entry strategy, multi-channel campaign management and lead generation programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Data solution development and execution (B2B and B2C)
  • Work with internal client teams and analysts to provide an optimal data strategy
  • Manage daily client communication; be aware of all account related initiatives, activity, personnel, and account dynamics etc.
  • Day to day account servicing and management of internal & client expectations
  • Recommend effective marketing channels (online and offline) and develop test plans
  • Campaign timeline management
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external client meetings, publish account status, meeting agenda, notes, and manage the follow-up items
  • Drive business by ensuring key program goals are met
  • Coordinate and effectively manage key cross-BU initiatives to foster a collaborative, energized internal team dynamic
  • Manage client budgeting, forecasting and invoicing
  • Set internal communication plans/methodology and ensure consistent project tracking with formal processes and documentation
  • Serve as primary point of contact for error resolution
  • Travels as required to meet clients/partners
Required Experience

Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of client management in a digital/CRM agency, or a combination of agency/client side experience
  • 3 years experience working with international clients
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in B2C and B2B data sourcing
  • Experienced in executing campaigns across both digital and offline channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships, especially sensitive issues and effectively problem solve
  • Ability to analyze problems and produce a viable solution
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast changing environment
  • Communication Skills: Good written and oral presentation skills; strong client management skills, experienced team player, second language helpful
  • Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills; ability to manage a team
  • Experience and success working in a matrix environment
Has expertise in the following areas:
  • Project Management : ensure projects are delivered on time; determine priorities and allocate time and resources effectively.
  • Account Administration : has strong business acumen and maintains core responsibility for ensuring account administration activities including: billing, contract administration, etc.
Has advanced skills in the following areas:
  • Relationship Management : Ability to forge new relationships, inspire others, rally a team, and drive the client and our internal organization to work against what is best for the client each and day.
  • Account Management : Ability to advocate a point of view across multiple levels within the customer organization and build a commitment that leads it to evaluate and take action
  • Client Satisfaction : Puts the needs and interests of both internal and external customers first; Anticipates future customer needs and satisfies current customer expectations and demands; Dedicated to meeting or exceeding commitments to customers.
  • Financial Management : Strong in forecasting revenue and profitability as well as budgeting and budget management
