The Account Manager will be responsible for the total client relationship for multiple Velti clients. Responsible for the overall client satisfaction, the Account Manager understands the client’s organization and culture, develops and executes a relationship plan, earning a reputation as one of the client’s trusted business advisors. The Account Manager is skilled in after-market selling; gaining a deep understanding of the client’s needs and matching them with Velti’s capabilities. The Account Manager must also understand and navigate throughout the Velti organization to identify, acquire and coordinate a team of resources needed to address client needs. S/he leads the development of the overall account plan for each client and has primary responsibility for identifying and prioritizing opportunities within the portfolio of clients.
Build relationships at every level with existing clients
Execute sales strategies to deliver forecasted quarterly revenue
Develop sales strategy to successfully sell new products and services
Maintain documentation in Salesforce.com of all sales activities
Participate in forecasting and tracking, sales presentation development, account reviews, and product planning
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Strong familiarity with :
Enterprise mobile applications
Multiple mobile delivery channels – txt, voice, push messaging, email.
Articulate and propose ROI based benefits
Proven ability to successful sell complex solutions to large corporations through relationship selling.
Proven track record in growing revenues in existing accounts for SaaS business
Self-starter - can build a plan to identify decision makers/influencers and process and execute a solution sales cycle
Ability to interface with Sales Engineers and Client Services personnel to understand high-level technical requirements.
Works well with both Channel partners and direct clients
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Mobile network experience is essential and mobile marketing experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including presentations
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
