Rodgers Townsend seeks a Senior Account Planner to work on the AT&T account. You will be responsible for overseeing development of strategy and creative briefings, providing leadership/expertise to other departments and bringing a strong consumer focus to all decisions. The ideal candidate will have most of the following going for them:
  • 7 – 10 years agency experience
  • Significant experience in integrated marketing, relationship marketing, 1:1 direct mail or permission marketing
  • A passion for emerging technologies – mobile, social, digital
  • Business-to-business experience
  • Ability to write inspiring, strategically sound creative briefs, personas, POVs, etc.
  • Proven experience in creating innovative consumer insights
  • A knack for making the complex simple
  • A track record of initiating, implementing and sustaining big-picture thinking
  • Experience on a national or global technology, telecommunications, wireless communications or enterprise networking brand
  • As comfortable with data analysts and direct marketing specialists as they are with creative, account people and digital specialists
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • A “team first” mentality and collaborative leadership style
  • The ability to think on your feet
  • The credibility to “go against the grain” when necessary, and challenge both the agency’s and client’s current thinking
