Prepare standard journal entries. Record and analyze expenses. Maintain fixed assets and record depreciation. Book daily cash receipts and maintain cash report. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities (YE close, W2, 1099, BS). Assist with budget, annual audit and cost report preparation. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and give to Director for review and approval. Prepare stats worksheets and post departmental stats monthly. Compile and distribute monthly department operating reports after ME close. Calculate man-hours. Prepare productivity worksheets and maintain productivity system biweekly. Supervise and serve as back up to AP & PR Coordinator. Work with other departments regarding payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger. Complete various projects as assigned by Director.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Associate's degree in Accounting with 4 years accounting experience.
Previous accounting or finance experience. 2-3 years hospital accounting experience preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
