Colsa Corporation has a need for a Senior Accountant. The successful candidate must have experience performing highly complex accounting tasks for a government contractor. Principal duties and responsibilities include revenue recognition, unbilled receivable analysis and verification, and accounts receivable analysis and verification. Candidate must also perform general ledger reconciliations and analysis, create and verify financial reports. Candidate must have knowledge and experience with DCAA procedures, requirements and audits, FAR regulations, Federal Travel Regulations. A security clearance may be required. Will report directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Eight years accounting experience.
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing and spreadsheets.
Experience in using Deltek Costpoint, Time and Expense, Budgeting and Planning and Impromptu/Cognos reporting.
Security clearance may be required.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
