Duties And Responsibilities
& Minimum Requirements:
The Senior Accountant is a full charge accountant for the CASS Program (60 million) and SEED Program (50 million). He/She is responsible for preparing the program budgets, all accounting transactions, all program reports and budget analysis. The incumbent will work with the Sponsored Accounting Office to close out the awards.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reconciling and preparing cost re-allocations for the Center's GD and GX cost centers.
The incumbent will:
assist the Director of Finance and Administration in managing all daily activities of the Finance Department
review and approve financial transactions less than $2,500
supervise two accountants and one account analyst
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and five years of related experience, including supervisory experience. Five years working experience in federal grants and contracts regulations. Working knowledge of A-21 and A-133 federal regulations. Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
