This position reports directly to the Manager of SEC Reporting with significant interaction with the Corporate Controller

Assist with the preparation and review of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, including filings on Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K and other public documents such as earnings releases, investor conference presentations, and proxy statements

Assist with the review of complex accounting issues and transactions for proper U.S. GAAP treatment on an as needed basis

Prepare annual 401(K) plan financial statements

Manage the accounting for stock-based compensation, including monthly journal entries preparation; monthly payroll-related reporting; equity awards database maintenance; and option fair-value calculation

Ensure internal control activities associated with financial reporting and stock-based are performed and documented

Coordinate external auditor’s audit procedures on a quarterly basis as it relates to financial reporting and stock-based compensation

Ad hoc special projects as required, including, but not limited to the implementation of new accounting standards, tax projects and process improvements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required

4-5 years experience in a Big 4 or national public accounting firm including experience working with public companies (Fortune 500 preferred) required

CPA or CPA-to-be required

Experience in researching accounting literature to resolve complex U.S. GAAP technical issues, with the ability to communicate findings and conclusions to financial and non-financial personnel required

Experience in XBRL filing, stock-based compensation, and income tax accounting is a plus

Team player able to work collaboratively within the group, as well as across different business units and functions (i.e. tax, treasury, legal)

Excellent analytical, written, verbal and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage conflicting priorities to deliver a high quality work product

Highly self-motivated individual who is disciplined, detail-oriented, and works well under pressure in a fast paced deadline-oriented environment
