Primary responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
  • Perform corporate month-end closing activities such as preparing reconciliations and journal entries
  • Develop and maintain various excel based models and templates
  • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
  • Perform duties in conjunction with established policies and procedures, and assist in documenting and implementing new policies and procedures
  • Prepare and update procedural documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Perform technical accounting research as assigned
  • Perform special projects as assigned

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Experienced accountants with demonstrated career growth are also encouraged to apply as the role can be adjusted accordingly
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including v-lookups, sumifs, pivot tables, and use of advanced formulae
  • Must be a self-starter, have strong problem solving skills, and analytical abilities as well as be an independent thinker with a proven ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to interact and communicate effectively at all levels across a large organization and to interface with and work with multiple disciplines and cultures
  • Must be deadline-oriented with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate accounting department of a small to medium corporation is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Great Plains is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in a public company setting is preferred, but not required
  • CPA is a plus
