SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Senior Accountant will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial operations and will be involved in various aspects of accounting and finance. This position will perform a variety of duties in connection with the month-end close, preparation of financial statements, journal entries, fixed assets, and other supporting schedules.
General Position Responsibilities :
Assist in monthly and quarterly financial closing process including account schedule preparation, financial analyses, reconciliations, and financial statement generation.
Support Accounting Manager and Finance Director with external and internal financial reporting requirements.
Assist with internal control requirements and reporting.
Provide support for internal and external audits, both foreign and domestic.
Specific Responsibilities:
Analyze monthly operating expense data for appropriate accounting treatment.
Review & process internal project labor for capitalization.
Review various balance sheet and income statement accounts for proper accounting in accordance with IFRS.
Support foreign subsidiary, inter-company, and intra-company accounting.
Create and update various management and ad-hoc reports.
