To support the Stores’ and Service Office operations by ensuring accurate and timely supplier and co-worker payments thereby maximizing supplier and co-worker relationships.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
    • Become knowledgeable in all aspects of IKEA’s payment policies, supporting the process of accurate and timely payments to suppliers and co-workers
    • Take ownership and develop partnerships with assigned entities
    • Possess excellent data entry skills with focus on accuracy and timeliness
    • Perform analysis of supplier’s payment history to satisfy Suppliers’, Stores’ and Service Office inquiries on a timely basis
    • Become highly knowledgeable on the electronic invoicing system, and develop the ability to quickly recognize issues and solutions to keep the payment process moving forward efficiently
    • Perform administrative changes for users of the electronic invoicing system
    • Verify the integrity of information prior to posting to the general ledger system
    • Audit weekly payment runs prior to transmittal/mailing
    • New supplier set up and co-worker expense report set up and maintenance
    • Assist with various reporting needs such as voids, held status, and cancels
    • Perform research and complete documentation on outstanding supplier checks to support the escheatment process
    • Support the yearly 1099 process
    • Contribute to an environment that promotes change, continually looks to improve, maintain controls and create more efficiency
    • Coach and mentor AP Processors in the team

  • Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
  • Knowledge/Experience:
    ·
    Strong computer skills and experience with A/P software
    · Two years A/P processing experience - Internal
    · Two to four years A/P processing experience - External
    · Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
    · Strong communication skills with co-workers at all levels
    · The ability to complete repetitive type tasks while remaining focused on detail
    · Detail oriented with strict adherence to deadlines and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
    · A clear understanding of, and a passion for IKEA values and principles
    · Associate Degree in Business or Accounting
