Provide media management and library support to designated facilities within Q Department. Designated libraries may contain a variety of documents (e.g., ship plans and drawings, technical reports, survey reports, etc.) in a variety of formats (e.g., hard copy, electronic, optical media, photographs, etc.), both classified and unclassified. Receive, store, process, distribute, and track classified and unclassified documents in accordance with SOPs and as directed by the SME. As a part of this effort the contractor shall log in and out classified material; dispose of classified material, which could include preparing and transporting to the National Security Agency for destruction. Conduct periodic inventories of all material listed in the government library database, including an annual classified inventory for library and safes and individual spot checks. As a part of this effort the contractor shall maintain a government inventory database, designed to track the status of all inventoried items.
Provide facility access support. Check visitors clearances utilizing Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), maintain access control database for Controlled Access Areas (CAA) and Open Secret Spaces (OSS) within respective building, maintain a daily inventory of visitors badges (escorted or unescorted), report missing badges to the Department Security Representative (DSR), maintain visitor logs, maintain a list of all custodians to classified spaces, and report directly to dispatch with all intentional alarms. Provide security systems support. Monitor Security Systems operations and performance, submit trouble tickets, coordinate alarm testing with Command Physical Security, maintain inventory log, track all keys assigned to facility, and record key inventory and assignments and provide listings to Department Key Manager.
Provide database management support. Update and maintain various government provided databases in an accurate and up-to-date manner. Update data in the government databases on a scheduled basis and shall be capable of producing reports on a routine or ad-hoc basis. Maintain government databases and ensure each is accurate and up-to-date. Update the government databases on a scheduled basis and shall print reports on a routine and/ or ad-hoc basis. Generate an updated list of all entries maintained in the inventory database as changes occur. Perform database backup procedures on a scheduled basis. Participate in the design and development of various online tools and associated online help utilities including the development and maintenance of statistical reporting tools, inventories, parts procurement, technical laboratories equipment lists, computer resource utilization records, automated information systems accreditation records, equipment maintenance records, and schedules.
Eight (10) years of experience performing the above responsibilities.
Must have a background in progressively responsible positions in the field of business management.
Additional desirable background:
Proven ability to organize and manage through the delegation of appropriate responsibilities and commensurate authority to key subordinates.
Adjusting work operations to meet emergency or changing requirements.
Ability to establish administrative objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Oral and written skills commensurate with role.
Must be able to successfully obtain an Active Security Clearance - Secret Level
Bachelors Degree preferred, from an accredited college or university in a business or management discipline and a total of eight years of experience in performing the foregoing responsibilities.
Associates degree preferred, from an accredited school in a business or management discipline. And:
A total of eleven years of experience in performing the foregoing functions.
