Senior Advancement Officer, GSEP
The purpose of the Senior Advancement Officer, GSEP is to build and manage relationships with prospects and donors and raise financial support for our Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; 2 years of professional experience in fund-raising, sales or related profession required; highly organized with the ability to take direction and handle multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment required; the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and fund-raising goals required; proven ability to work well with character diversity required; excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required; evening and weekend events, significant local travel and some out of state travel is required; a satisfactory driving record, a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle required; advanced degree preferred; 3-5 years of success in fund-raising at a major gifts level, preferably in a higher education or other nonprofit environment preferred; experience with Raiser's Edge preferred; management/supervision experience preferred.
