As the Senior Advertising Product Marketing for eBay's US Display Advertising business, you will define the value proposition and partner with our Agency Sales team to bring to market programs that drive revenue and deliver a positive customer experience for our advertisers and the eBay buyers and sellers. You will be tasked with developing new advertising concepts, while partnering with our Major Accounts lead to scale and enrich our existing key partnerships.
Responsible for managing the entire eBay North America display advertising policies and portfolio of products including custom content centers, IAB standard media placements, and native marketing products. Work with advertising product management to prioritize new ad products & custom programs/sponsorships. Formulate revenue and pricing strategies as needed for new advertising products and programs. This includes aligning with the int'l advertising teams as needed for new ad placements and global programs. Manage the publishing of the weekly business dashboard for internal stakeholders such as Product, Marketing and User Experience - requires ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales agency, and appropriate eBay BU leads. Responsible for end to end new product releases - product packaging, sales positioning and collateral, and revenue optimization. Oversee the operations and execution of high impact native campaign executions. Develop and execute full-scale project plans and associated communications documents in conjunction with the business owners. Effectively communicate project expectations to design and copy team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and manage ongoing expectations accordingly. Act as the central repository for marketing business metrics and learnings for all programs. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Coordinate with the key NA Advertising leads to align and prioritize marketing initiatives Develop executive presentations, case studies and other content designed to accelerate our display business momentum and better engage customers.
Ability to think critically leveraging data insights to draw actionable, creative business solutions for our clients. Organization, attention to detail when juggling multiple, time sensitive projects is a must! Strong Storytelling skills that work across hard-charging sales teams, executive management and heads-down analysts Passionate, creative mind that can bring out of the box ideas into product positioning and marketing campaigns Experience working in either direct sales and/or within sales organization as some direct sales may be required. Experience working well horizontally across multiple functional areas - product management, product development, marketing, ad operations, analytics, legal, accounting, customer service, etc. Some travel is required - approx. 15-20%.
