Overview:

PURPOSE

Provide support to the Sr. Manager, Financial Operations, which is part of the Controller’s group.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Royalties, Commissions and Bonus (RCB) management (45%)
  • Process management – oversight and ownership of all processes related to royalties, commissions and bonus (limited) calculation and disbursement.
  • Monthly closing and reconciliation oversight and ownership of month end close cycle for RCB expenses
  • Trend reporting - produce trend reporting for RCB activities as needed
  • Internal control – ensure accurate internal controls exist on RCB activities to ensure timely and accurate accruals and disbursements.
Revenue management and operational reporting (45%)
  • Budgeting and forecasting – oversight and ownership of budgets and forecasting for all dues related revenue
  • Monthly closing and reconciliation - oversight and ownership of month end close cycle for dues related revenue
  • Modeling and trend reporting – produce modeling and trend reporting for financial operations
  • Planning and predictive analysis – produce predictive analysis and support planning and strategies for financial operations
  • Executive presentations – prepare and present budget/forecast/trending updates for various audiences including at the executive level
  • Relationship management/collaboration – strategically partner with key teams to enhance member value, related processes and revenue
Other duties as assigned (10%)

  • Supervision of the Analyst, Financial Operations
  • Technology and reporting enhancements – proactively seek out enhancements that add value and efficiency to the organization and add value to members as well as support organizational projects and enhancements
  • Audit support – participate in financial audits as needed

Qualifications:

Required

· Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

· 7 + years’ experience in financial analysis and reporting

· 4+ years’ experience in staff supervision or management

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

· Advanced Microsoft Access, PowerPoint and Word skills
