The US Consumer Travel Network (CTN) provides easy access for leisure travelers who walk into its national network of retail travel offices, click in through the website, or call into one of its telephone service centers dedicated to servicing to the most affluent American Express Cardmembers. Within CTN, the Product Strategy and Partner Management team leads website development and product management for our leisure travel and proprietary online programs. The group is an exciting and fast growing component of the broader CTN organization.

We are seeking a Sr. Analyst, Release Management and Testing to play a key role in our online development process helping shape the present website and ensuring its long-term success. You execute our testing strategies and activities for our internal and external partners. You will be responsible our work effort prioritization, and will be the liaison between the respective product owners and our vendor development teams.

  • Direct project releases aligned with the overall travel product roadmap, while overseeing minor enhancements and fixes with partners using the Agile development methodology
  • Coordinate and manage all testing activities from various teams across
  • Drive quality assurance activities – including reporting
  • Define test data requirements and coordinate with Technologies to ensure test account accounts are prepared and maintained prior to each release
  • Manage and coordinate compliance activities for each release
  • Manage UAT on-boarding for new project team members, as necessary
  • Be the main point of contract for our cross-team dependencies and ensure each is prepared for every release
  • Liaise between the product owners and vendor development teams
  • Maintain and prioritize defect reduction processes
  • Prioritize work effort for defect reductions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Creative thinker ; adaptable, pragmatic problem solver
  • Knowledgeable about the Web and comfortable interfacing with technology
  • Willing to contribute and “wear many hats” as needed
  • Must be able to work with limited direction and drive results
  • Strong communication skills (can jump in and ask questions/drive conversations)
  • Experience with Agile development methods is ideal but not a must
  • Experience with Quality Center and/or JIRA is helpful but not a must
