The Managed Services organization is seeking an application support analyst to provide support to clients who use McKesson applications. This position will work from home.
Support and assist hospital customers who utilize McKesson Applications (including Horizon Business Insight, EC2000, Pathways Contract Management, Pathways Compliance Advisor and Horizon Performance Manager). Analyze complex problems with software applications/contents and work with multiple customers to identify corrective action and solutions. Promptly review cases and bring closure to tickets in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with clients over the phone, recommend solutions and successfully resolve issues in a timely manner. Work collaboratively on project teams to generate ideas and share knowledge. Partner with internal McKesson departments to ensure seamless service to clients. Participate in upgrades with clients as needed.
*This position will require non-traditional hours and be part of an on-call schedule.
6+ years product applications support experience
- Application support experience with Horizon Business Insight, EC2000, Pathways Contract Management
- Experience upgrading applications
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
- Ability to work non-traditional hours and be part of an on-call schedule
- Experience supporting McKesson applications in a hospital environment
- Pathways Compliance Advisor
- Horizon Performance Manager
- Ticketing system experience such as CRM or ServiceDesk
- Previous experience in a client-facing role (either by phone or in person)
BS degree or equivalent experience.
10% travel may be required
