Mindshare Chicago is hiring in its fast-growing Digital Analytics Department.

The Sr. Analyst, Digital Analytics is the bridge between Mindshare’s clients and the internal practice areas of Digital Analytics, Planning, and Digital Investment. This position involves significant interaction with the Planning and Investment teams throughout the planning process to establish appropriate campaign KPIs in order to guide campaign optimization recommendations. This role requires a strong familiarity with all available analytics tools, both syndicated and proprietary. All recommendations need to be supported by quantitative and/or qualitative research and clients need to be able to understand the arguments.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities revolve around managing relationships between internal Mindshare and client teams, specific to ongoing Analytics engagements:
  • Support Planning teams in the creation of campaign specific digital KPIs to inform ongoing campaign optimization
  • Manage relationships with junior level clients
  • Write POVs to provide thought leadership on Digital Analytics industry topics
  • Meet and evaluate research and analytics vendors
  • Manage basic statistical analyses, provide guidance on best practices
  • Design and manage analytics projects including multi-channel attribution, online to offline sales studies, and digital audience verification research

Job Skills & Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Social Sciences
  • Experience in statistics, experimental method, applied mathematics, or computer science a plus

Working Knowledge:

Experience with at least one of the tools/vendors within the following areas is required
  • Website Analytics : Omniture, Google Analytics, Webtrends, Unica
  • Ad Servers : DoubleClick, MediaMind, PointRoll, Atlas
  • Syndicated Measurement: comScore, Nielsen, Compete
Experience in the following areas is a plus
  • Primary Research: Vizu, Dimestore, Dynamic Logic, comScore, Insight Express
  • Database Management/Warehousing : advanced Excel, Access, SQL
  • Data Visualization: Tableau, Omniscope, Microstrategy

Experience and Skillset:
  • Strong client communication skills, client facing experience a must
  • Advanced knowledge of Digital Media
  • Strong quantitative and analytical problem solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple clients
  • Inquisitive mindset and hunger for learning
  • Ambitious with drive and hard work ethic
