St. Bonaventure University, a founding member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, has an immediate opening for a Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations. This is a full-time, 12-month appointment that reports directly to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and indirectly to the Vice President for University Advancement.Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership, vision and planning of all external related areas within the Department of Athletics including Annual and Major gifts; Marketing/Promotions; Ticket Sales; and Athletics Communications. Working within the outline of the University†s and Athletic Department†s Strategic Plans, the Director will develop aggressive but reasonable annual revenue goals with a comprehensive plan to achieve those goals. Identifying new revenue streams and enhancing current avenues is a priority as is increasing the branding of the department and University as a whole. This is a senior level administrative position and candidates must demonstrate understanding, compliance and commitment to all NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference and institutional rules.
