Job Summary:

Responsible for conducting and documenting moderate and complex audit assignments and special projects. Reviews and evaluates system of operational and internal controls associated with each project assigned. Documents workflow processes and internal controls through preparation of audit workpapers. Conducts testwork which support conclusions reached. Evaluates activities being audited. Determines efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Reviews workpapers of individuals assigned to audit and evaluates performance. Responsible for preparation of audit findings, recommendations and audit report drafts. Provides some advice and direction to corporate auditors. Conducts opening and closing conferences with auditee.

Minimum Qualifications:

College Degree (Bachelors Level)

Microsoft Office Skills required

Previous Audit Experience required.

SAP experience preferred.

CPA, CIA or CISA certification preferred.

The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is 2.

Job Duties:

  • Recommend procedural changes to improve internal control and/or operating efficiencies.
  • Draft Audit Program which is responsive to the audit objectives (assisted by Audit Supervisor or Manger).
  • Direct the efforts of Staff Auditors assigned to the audit project. Monitor job progress to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Draft audit report ensuring exceptions and recommendations are practical from a business standpoint.
  • Assist in training, motivating, and developing the potential auditors.
  • Participate in Post Audit meeting with the Chief Executive Officer and his staff.
  • Meet with the Audit Manager to establish project objectives before fieldwork begins.
  • Meet with auditee management to discuss objectives, plan the scope and timing of each audit. Initiate discussion of management concerns to be addressed during the audit.
  • Review audit workpapers prepared by the Staff Auditors.
  • Assemble final report draft for review by the Audit Supervisor /Audit Manager and General Auditor of Corporate Audit.
  • Perform preliminary review to gain an understanding of the operations and controls in place.
  • Perform follow-ups on audit observations.
  • Evaluate audit staff performance based on previously established criteria.
  • Assist in researching audit universe projects and identifying potential projects to be included in the audit universe.
  • Perform special projects as requested.
