This position is responsible for administering Hazelden benefits plans including medical, dental, disability, life, voluntary life, retirement and other benefit plans. Specifically, this position interacts with employees to aid in the enrollment, understanding, payment and use of benefits, provides data to management regarding use and cost of benefits, and acts as a system administrator for the benefits module of the HRMS. Participates in the development of the benefit plan communications.
Minimum five to seven years experience in benefit administration working with welfare and retirement plans. Knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to benefits administration and healthcare reform. Three to five years experience dealing directly with employees and vendors. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications with particular emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
