CMU’s Program in Neuroscience, College of Medicine (CMED), and College of Humanities and Social & Behavioral Sciences (CHSBS) seeks a highly qualified individual for a shared appointment to lead development of a three person cohort in Neuroscience. CMU’s neuroscience program currently consists of ten faculty members whose work focuses on neurodegenerative disorders, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and stroke. The goal of this new cohort is to broaden and deepen current work, and to increase the extramural funding and research productivity of the program. Appointment will be at the Associate or Full Professor rank, depending on credentials. CMU will provide a competitive space and start-up package to support the development of an externally funded vigorous research program, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to recruit two additional scientists into the program.
