Summary:
Senior Business Account Manager position is responsible for prospecting, growing and maintaining a Commercial account base of Enterprise and high-end SMB customers.
Duties & Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below: Target new commercial Enterprise and high-end SMB prospects, in order to sell WOW! High-capacity data and voice products, as well as video services. Establish, develop, retain, grow, and support account base of customers, comprised of mostly Enterprise and high end SMB customers Represent a thorough knowledge of data, Internet, voice and video products and associated applications, as well as the competitive landscape Utilize a consultative selling approach to thoroughly determine customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Demonstrate exceptional relationship building skills that result in new customer additions, long term loyalty, ongoing incremental business opportunities and low customer churn Ability to develop and execute on new account acquisition strategy that results in the consistent overachievement of assigned quotas Ability to develop existing accounts through relationship tactics that result in contract renewals and highly satisfied customers Develop and cultivate networking relationships with equipment vendors, Chamber of Commerce and other community institutions to develop and maintain the WOW! brand and create referral opportunities All other duties as assigned.

Capable of accurate sales forecasting based on opportunity analysis. Team player, able to handle ambiguity, to anticipate and adapt to changes quickly. Possess a hunter mentality coupled with a strong drive to win new business. Self starter with excellent time management and business sales skills. Excellent verbal and written communicator, with strong presentation skills. Strong persuasive abilities and negotiating skills. Strong customer service orientation with excellent follow up. . Education/Experience: B.A. or B.S. Degree preferably in Business or Sales and Marketing, or the equivalent in work experience which includes 7 + years of proven success in B2B selling and 4 + years of in-depth consultative selling experience to Enterprise, high-end SMB Computer Skills: Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software, Internet software and e-mail. Ability to learn billing software systems and access online support/tools as well as knowled ge, skills and experience in Carrier, CLEC, LEC, or Cable industry Physical Demands/Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee is required to work designated shift hours. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team 75% of sales time out of the office meeting with customers. Must have a reliable vehicle with insurance coverage and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
