This position ensures continuous support for value-based IT services and applications, primarily in the areas of IT service management, Web/intranet, online collaboration, mobile technologies, and other digital workplace initiatives. Responsibilities include technical consulting, service design, documentation, escalation to management, and partnering with other IT teams, including Infrastructure, Security, Database Management, Architecture, Contract Support, Purchasing staff and project managers in order to fulfill business service requests and provide ongoing support. In addition, familiarity with IT service management, mobile technologies, Web portals, user experience, collaboration, Agile and/or Lean methods, and stakeholder relationship management is desired..
Participates in and/or leads multi-functional teams to accomplish assigned projects, especially in the areas of IT service management, Web/intranet, online collaboration, mobile technologies, and other digital workplace initiatives using various project methodologies, from waterfall to Agile, as appropriate for the project scope and business needs.
Meets with customers to gather effective business requirements and/or user stories in order to deliver appropriate and valuable IT services.
Implements new systems and enhancements with appropriate testing, change management and communications with minimal rework.
Develops and implements test plans, documentation and training for supported services.
Maps and analyzes end to end business processes within third party and proprietary systems as well as integrations.
Minimum undergraduate degree in Information Technology or a relevant discipline required.
Minimum of six years of proven business experience with a minimum of three years of diversified information technology experience and/or three plus years of relevant experience supporting non-IT services required.
